For Japan domestic award, ticketless service is now available for overseas JMB members from July 1, 2005.
Passengers should have a confirmed reservation, then simply can pick up the award on the day of departure at the airport in Japan. This service is also available for online bookings.

How to get the domestic award :
[ When passengers are JMB members ]
On the day of departure, the JMB members need to go to the automated check-in / ticketing machines (TCM*) placed in departure counter in domestic airport and push the "Award Ticket" button. Then insert the JMB membership card (JFC card and JAL card is also applicable), and the machine will issue the award ticket for all sectors or partial sector. (except for RAC* flight).
*When traveling on RAC flights, please mention that you are traveling on award tickets and show the JMB membership card at the check-in counter on the day of departure.
[ When passengers are NOT JMB members ]
The passengers only need to give the reservation confirmation number to the check-in agent at the airport, then they will issue the award ticket for all sectors or partial sector.
* The automated check-in machine (TCM) does not have the english
guidance screen
